Despite the cold, windy and rainy weather, I got to shoot one of the most fun andawesome couple at the Honsberger Estate in Jordan, Ontario, this past Saturday. I never met Mary and Craig or any of their relatives before the wedding day, as they travelled all the way from Australia, but when I did, it’s like I always knew all of them. They all greeted me with such a warm, friendly and welcoming smile, and they were all so much fun to be around with. They all kept making hilarious jokes throughout the day, even during the ceremony. And the groomsman clumsiness was the key to top-notch laughs! First, he would accidently drop the bride’s ring into the pond, then break a guitar strap, then spill champagne on the Bride and Groom’s table ( which they will most likely find out when they read this haha! ). It was a small and intimate wedding, just shy of 40 guests.
In the end, it was the best wedding I’ve been to. All the laughs and unplanned events definitely made this wedding a very memorable one! On top of that, Honsberger Estate was one of the nicest venues I have shot at, and I would really love to shoot another wedding there if the opportunity ever shows up.

Here comes the rain

Oops! Oh clumsy groomsman. The bride’s ring went straight into the pond.

Jeffrey Chan Tin - Shari: thanks a lot! I’ve seen your work, and I must say that they were just amazing! I wish I was in NJ or you were in Toronto! that way we could secondshoot for each other!
Shari DeAngelo - You did a beautiful job with this wedding. I particularly like the lighting on that last image but the entire series tells a beautiful, funny and over-all touching story. Well done!
