You’re in love, it”s your engagement session, you’re not seasoned actors and it can definitely feel awkward when you’re standing in front of the camera!

Remember the couple who won an engagement session on Wedding Obsession?. That’s them!

Here’s what Jenna and Peter did: It was definitely really awkward at first, but then they just started having fun! Smile, laugh, run around and laugh some more! It’s like a first date, except with a third wheel (me, haha) and once you broke the ice, everything will fall into place.

Nothing could have made me any happier than to have been the wedding photographer of Lauren and Greg and to have been the wedding photographer of Lauren’s sister,  three years ago ! Any wedding photographer would probably tell you the same thing! Referrals mean the world to me and being able to book referrals means that my clients must have truly enjoyed my work.

Time flies. I shot Stephanie and John’s wedding, three years ago and they’re already having their 2nd baby! Their first born, Alice looked like a total princess at Lauren and Greg’s wedding and their second baby will surely look just as cute, or even cuter!

Lauren and Greg’s wedding was held in Barrie, at Greg’s Dad’s farm. Yes! They had a barn wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous! Anyway, congratulations to all of you and I really hope to see you again very soon!

Fun fact: The coin that you see in Lauren’s left shoe, was in fact the same coin that Stephanie had in her left wedding shoe, three years ago!

Robyn and Mark’s wedding, at Ball’s Fall Conservation, was absolutely beautiful and was filled with fun and loving people! It was a really joyful wedding and I’d say that I was very lucky to be part of the day! Again, thanks Leanna for having me as your second shooter!

To make it even more stunning, Jenny and Aaron, from Stackedevents.com, did an amazing job decorating the reception hall with their signature vintage-inspired style! I shall let the photos speak for themselves. I’m really looking forward to working with Stacked Events more in the future, and would love to shoot even more vintage-style weddings!

Out of all the weddings that I have shot, Mira and Milan was one of the nicest, warmest, most awesome and friendliest couple I have ever met! I was second shooting for the amazing wedding photographer, Sarah Guy of Labour of Love and got to take photos of the Milan and his grooms men getting ready at Milan’s parent’s house in Nobleton. Those guys were quite something! They were all so laid back, plain all having fun, holding guns, holding an antique Les Paul guitar, doing burn outs, standing in empty fields and what not. Mira and Milan, what an awesome and cute couple those two make! They had a really awesome King’s Riding wedding, with all their close relatives and friends. Despite the heatwave on that day, they all managed to keep their cool and had the time of the lives!

What a fantastic wedding this was! I was so blessed to be able to photograph the wedding of Stacey and Aaron, at Hillcrest United Church in Georgetown. And not too far, this awesome person that I did not get the chance to meet, allowed us to use his gorgeous property to shoot the formals, and the front yard was an absolute piece of art. Thank you, kind stranger! After a few hours, we headed off to Teatro Conference & Event Centre, in Milton.

If you know who those guys are, then you must have been following my blog for the past three years! If you have no clue what I’m talking about, well, Lauren was Stephanie‘s younger sister and also her Maid of Honour. She’s now finally getting married as well, and I’m so excited that I will get to shoot her wedding in a few months from now at Horseshoe Resort! Those two love extreme sports so much that they chose to get their engagement session done at a Mountain Bike Trail right in Toronto.

Even though the world’s population count is well over 7 billion, it’s still a very small world! Sharleen and Jean David are actually from Mauritius as well, and they found me through Facebook! Because they are going to get married back home ( Mauritius ), they asked me if I could shoot their engagement session and I certainly could not say no. The best part is that we did it during spring, and right when the cherry blossoms were occurring, and it was definitely worth waking up at 5am to get to High Park, Toronto very early before anyone else.
